30m kite tail with 100 LEDs, now available in 3 colours - White, green and red. Suitable for 4M parachute deltas or bigger. Can come bundled with remote control. This is a collectors' item, only for the real kite fanatics. See "Beautiful moments" for a sample video of the white tail.

Remote control is the "In" thing now, switch on/off your lights at will, without having to wait for the sky to turn dark (as compared to using a sensor). Can control up to 2 sets of lights on one kite using one transmitter. Maximum range varies with local magnetic field and interference, effective range of 300-400m has been tested and proven. Hi power transmitter claims maximum range of 1000m.

New Flashing LEDs for deltas up to 4M - The "White Diamonds" consisting of 192 LEDs (mostly white) that light up the sky so bright that make the rest of the kites look so dull. The "Chameleon" consisting of 132 LEDs that change colours so gracefully that its a feast to the eyes, somewhat like looking at fireworks.

Reels, Lines n Accessories


There are so many different types of reels and lines available in the market so much so that one finds it difficult to decide on which one to get for their kites. Here at Kites n Kytes, we make things simple by narrowing down the choices to just 2, of which the 22cm reel will suit kites up to 2m in width, and the 25cm one will suit any kite wider than 2m.

Both reels come with triple-strands tyre lines* for maximum strength (up to 80 lbs) , you never have to worry that your kites will fly away again. They also come with unsealed ball bearings^ to allow releasing and reeling in of lines to take place with ease.

The spring loaded handle allows you to lock the wheel when your kite has attained the desired height, freeing one of your hands to sip at a cup of coffee while watching your beloved kite soar in the sky.

* The 22cm and 25cm reel come with 350m and 700m of triple-strands tyre lines respectively. Request can be made for the reels to come with the line pre-wound at the point of sale at no extra charge (please specify in your order). Simply hook up your kite to the line and go flying straightaway.

^Some reels in the market come with "metal balls" which are prone to overheating and jamming, especially during rapid releasing and reeling in of line.

32cm Stainless Steel Roller

This roller comes detachable by means of a nut. Useful when trying to release jammed line at the axle, which tends to occur when the line skips because of weak tension. Its also comes with a line guide (controllable with your finger) that helps to minimise the skipping of line and ensure that line is reeled in evenly.
